XI3.1 Advanced Universe Design
This two day advanced course is aimed at delegates who are responsible for creating and designing universes using Universe Designer.
The course is designed to give you the comprehensive skills and in-depth knowledge needed to design universes in BusinessObjects Universe Designer.
Who should attend?
The target audience for this course is anyone responsible for creating and designing universes using Universe Designer.
Delegates will be able to
- Comprehensively design universes in SAP BusinessObjects Universe Designer.
- Utilise best practice methodology for creating universes that respond to your reporting requirements.
- Allow report designers and business users to create reports without having to know anything about the underlying data source or structure.
Prerequisites
Delegates must have attended the following courses,
- SAP BusinessObjects - Universe Design XI R2 and/or Universe Design XI R3
- SAP BusinessObjects - Web Intelligence Report Design XI R2 and/or Web Intelligence Report Design XI3.0/3.1 and/or Web Intelligence FastTrack Web Client
Knowledge/experience
- The metadata and logical structure of the databases in your organisation
- Using and working with SQL and relational database management systems concepts and structures
- The SAP BusinessObjects Central Management Console
